So Beachy! 200m to the beach. Family friendly!

I would never stay there again and was very disappointed in what we got for what we paid. Positive: It was close to our family and to the beach which is what we wanted. The unit size was as expected. Negative: The place had strong curry smelling cooking odours when we arrived and this stayed noticeable for the 5 days we were there, even after we sprayed and aired the unit. The lounge couch was visibly stained (covers allegedly being laundered) and the main bed sheets were old and poor quality (bobbly). Unseen in the booking.com photos. We wanted to invite family to visit but never did because of this. When I pointed this out to the property manager, she told me she would note them and deal with them at the end of our stay. So there was no effort to resolve anything while we were there. In fact when I mentioned I would note these things in the review, she repeated she wouldnt deal with these things because I was doing a review. I found this response from a property manager to be appalling. The unit is also located on one of the busiest intersections in Ocean Grove (with traffic lights), which we werent aware of. However not too bad other than early morning if you wanted to sleep in. There were a few other negatives for a place that charged this rate, which I havent listed.

Positive: Clean Negative: Every thing perfect

Lovely property super clean and comfortable Positive: Loved the layout. Super clean. Comfy beds. Wonderful location to beach and shops. Such nice hosts and certainly would stay again. Negative: As we are from the country and we are not used to traffic noise and I do think in Summer this would quite noisy but on the whole this is not a downside if you are used to traffic noise, just that we aren’t :)

Positive: Excellent location. Lovely home.

Positive: Location is great. Same distance to the beach and the shops. Lots of room for a family holiday.
