Views on the Avenue

Positive: One thing I liked about this property was that its location in Clifton springs. Negative: The property was not clean upon arrival. There were spider webs across the windows, doors, and bedrooms, and the overall condition did not appear properly maintained. This was especially concerning as we were travelling with a four-month-old baby. The following morning, the infant developed red rashes across his face and body, which raised serious hygiene concerns. I contacted staff immediately. Although a cleaner was reportedly sent, no cleaning occurred while I was present, yet I was later told the property had been cleaned. I also raised issues about a badly smelling doona, dust on the ceiling fan, and the lack of clean bed sheets. I was advised that the property does not offer deep cleaning, which is unacceptable for paid accommodation. Additionally, the host questioned the presence of a camp bed, implying an extra guest. This was incorrect—the bed was used for our baby, as clearly stated in the booking. Overall, very disappointing experience due to cleanliness, poor communication, and how concerns were handled.

Property was Very Pretty and Great Location

A family wedding and reception bought us to Geelong and Jack Rabbit Winery for the weekend. This little get away was perfectly located to both. A gorgeous clean place which was easily accessed and included all the amenities we required - although a second TV would be on our Wishlist! Thanks for having us!
